The Itinerary
Day 1 – Departure from Rodney Bay, St Lucia
After a welcome briefing and provisioning complete, we depart Rodney Bay and set a southerly course. As the iconic Pitons fade on the horizon, the Caribbean opens before us. The Swan 51 comes alive in trade-wind conditions—balanced, responsive, and exhilarating.
Day 2 – Bequia
Landfall in charming Bequia, the northern gateway to the Grenadines. Admiralty Bay offers calm anchorage and a warm island welcome. Explore Port Elizabeth’s waterfront cafés, local markets, and maritime heritage. Bequia retains the authentic character of old-world Caribbean yachting culture.
Day 3 – Mustique
A short sail south to exclusive Mustique, known for understated luxury and pristine beaches. Anchor in Britannia Bay and enjoy powder-white sands and crystalline waters. Sunset cocktails, or perhaps dinner, at the legendary Basil’s Bar are optional—but highly recommended.
Days 4–6 – Tobago Cays (3 Nights in Paradise)
We sail into the protected marine park of the Tobago Cays—arguably the crown jewel of the Caribbean.
For three unforgettable days:
– Snorkel vibrant coral reefs and swim with sea turtles
– Paddleboard over turquoise shallows
– Enjoy beach barbecues under starlit skies
– Experience total disconnection in a setting of extraordinary natural beauty
The horseshoe reef shelters tranquil anchorages, creating perfect conditions for swimming and relaxation.
Day 7 – Carriacou
We continue south to Carriacou, part of Grenada. Known as the “Island of Reefs,” Carriacou offers superb snorkeling and a laid-back atmosphere. Explore Hillsborough village, walk quiet beaches, or simply enjoy a peaceful evening at anchor.
Day 8 – Open Sailing Day back to Bequia.
A longer passage northbound. This is a true sailor’s day—trim sails, take the helm, and experience the Swan 51 in her element. Steady trade winds and open water make for rewarding blue-water sailing.
Day 9 – Night Sail to St Lucia
We begin our return passage to St Lucia in the afternoon, continuing through the night. Night sailing in the Caribbean is unforgettable: steady breeze, phosphorescence in the wake, and a sky filled with stars. Under the capable command of our professional skipper, you’ll experience offshore sailing at its most magical.
Day 10 – Arrival in Rodney Bay
We make landfall back in Rodney Bay by morning. Breakfast onboard and disembarkation, carrying memories of ten extraordinary days under sail.
